Image Consultant Adviser
1. What will an image consultant do for me?

People judge you by the way you look. A large part of their first impression of you is based on your appearance. I will teach you the skills needed to make the most of what you have. I will suggest clothing styles and colours to both enhance your body shape and flatter your natural colouring. Depending upon your needs, I will also show you how to organise your wardrobe to make getting dressed in the morning a breeze. Accessories, makeup and hairstyles to suit you may also be covered. The skills you learn will be applicable for many years, ensuring you always know how to look your best.
2. I can’t afford a whole new wardrobe. Will I need to get one?

I will show you how to reorganise your clothes for maximum effect. There is often a large part of your wardrobe that is great for your individual body shape-it just needs a few extra tips to “tie it all together” with maybe the purchase of a couple of items. These pieces can be bought gradually or quickly, depending on your budget. Most women find they actually end up with much fewer clothes. A successful wardrobe is usually not a large one. It just needs to have all the pieces working together.

3. If I find a style that suits me but it only comes in a colour that does not
suit me, should I buy it?

Colours of clothes can often be made to appear different by the use of accessories, so, if you have to choose, pick style rather than colour. Try for a piece of clothing in both a suitable style and colour, but this is not always possible (especially if you need the item quickly!)

4. I want to wear black but, according to my colours, it won’t suit me.

The concept of the “little black dress” is timeless. Black is both slimming and very classy and, somehow, the “little navy dress” does not seem to have quite the same appeal. Buy the colours you love and, if you’re told they are not right for your tonal colour, add extra items near your face in colours more suitable for you eg. lipstick, earrings, scarves, hair accessories.
